I reallly enjoyed this offering and your sharing a bit of your creative process with us. From my reading and absorbing, it is working really well, as I love your poems and writing! I tend to go organically and flow naturally, for better and often worse, as it is more my nature. That is why I liked the challenges of Kaitlin and Jillian's poem prompts (deep bows to both of these wonderful artists.) Thank you for sharing your wonderful cretion with us. I am grateful. Here is a quick poem that came to mind after reading your piece today:
Just tuning in here for the first time in ages and Larry, as ever, you never cease to amaze and delight. Reading this made me smile; you’re such a blessing 💗
Really really enjoyed reading this tidbit of your poetry writing process, especially when your art of poetry shaping came up so often! 😘 Those two poetry journeys were SUCH a blessing and I am glad you were there every step of the way 💗🌸
This gives me food for thought and inspiration for when poetry comes again ✨
Poetry typically eludes me. Not sure why, I've just always struggled with it. I can write music, but not lyrics. Probably because I enjoy having a bit of structure and rules to my creativity. I know it's odd, but if I can make anything I make nothing. If there are rules to work around, that's where I excel.

For A.
One day we may meet
in a cafe with oat milk lattes,
lots of books and homemade, organic treats.
or on a beach where our beloveds dance and play,
joy rising like first flowers...
until then
these metaphorical tables,
these virtual cafes and digital blessings
serve us well.
A toast to your gracious wisdom.
What a beautiful gift, Larry! Thank you! I love the natural flow of your poetry. I hope we can meet for those lattes or on that beach one day. ☀️
I'll be looking forward to the possibility!

Thank you Jillian! I really miss you and all you share, shine and show with your wisdom, creativity and spirit!

I'm so glad! I really found them so enriching and wouldn't be here if it weren't for you and everyone who participated. ❤️

That's probably why I love jazz.
Poetry without words.
I think that's why I tend to appreciate prompt words!
